About Us: At Shut up and Drive, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive and effective driver education to our students. With a focus on safety, responsibility, and confidence-building, we strive to equip new drivers with the skills and knowledge they need to navigate the roads safely.

Compensation: Pay starts at $13.00 an hour

Driver’s Education Classroom Teacher Information:

• Teach Driver’s Education Classes to students and adults. Classes are WEEKDAYS and daytime hours during the summer. Our summer schedule starts on May 22nd. You can view the class schedule by clicking here.

Driving Instructor Information:

• Conduct behind-the-wheel driving lessons for students of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced drivers. Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment for students while teaching defensive driving techniques and promoting safe driving habits. Provide clear and constructive feedback to students to help them improve their driving skills.

• Hours are somewhat flexible, but applicants need to be prepared to work evenings as well as some weekends. During the school year, most of our drive time is done after school and on weekends. During the summer, we are able to schedule students during the day.

Job Requirements for both positions:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• 25 years or older and able to pass an FBI background check.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience and empathy when working with students.

• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual learners.

• This is a contract 1099 position
